EXTERNAL RESOURCES AND PROFFESIONAL SKILLS

A lot of my time inn London has been in lockdown and I especially think missing out on the informal conversations in the studio and workshop has been a great loss in terms of knowledge about opportunities. But despite difficulties I did a few things, and the following is divided into a list of things I have already done and a list of intentions.

GOING FORWARD

I am not very good at planning and how I surveived more that 20 years as self imployed free lance is a mystery. However, from watching a lot of the Professional Toolkit Lectures I have become brutally aware that it is essential to do a lot of planning and apply for a lot of oppotunities if I want to be visable in the art scene.

The Professional Toolkit Lectures has provided us with a lot of information about finding useful professional practice resources and links. Some of the things I would like to look at are residencies and non-for-profit galleries.

There are so many Open Calls at the moment, but I cannot find the time to apply for all of them. It is a note to self, that september is 'high seson' for open calls and in the future I need to be better prepared.

When Camberwell finally opened after lockdown and restrictions I think many of us finally got a feel of what it is really like to study at an art collegde with all the workshops and possibilities. And I loved that vibe. Therefore, I consider studying a practice based phd, prefeably in Oslo, Norway because there you researchers become a part of the paid staff. Also, it looks like they have amazing printmaking fascilities.

When I move back to Denmark it is essentiel to build new networks, and here is a list of oppotunities:

PRINTMAKING WORKSHOPS IN COPENHAGEN:

Københavns Grafiske Værksteder at FABRIKKEN
Bibliotekets grafiske værksted

PRINTMAKING WORKSHOPS AND GALLERIES OUTSIDE COPENHAGEN:

Grafisk Værksted Næstved
Fyns Grafiske Værksted
Hjørring Grafisk Værksted
